Over MLK holiday we took a trip to Bear Lake. It was so fun being with my family up there, playing games, laughing, eating good food, and skiing at Beaver Mountain. I hope to make it an annual trip, and hopefully become a better skier and advance on to skiing down the hill faster than the time it takes to ride the ski lift up.

New Years

For 2008 New Years we did things a little different but still had a blast. Here are a few pics of our celebration. We started out the night at Oh Sushi and ended it with some Rock Band and Mario Cart.

JD and Miranda we totally missed you and the fondu. I can't wait for next year to bring the tradition back!

Fender benders

Last night while getting onto the freeway to go home I was in a fender bender. I pulled over to the shoulder and luckily he followed, we got out assessed the damage and I called the Police. While waiting I was thinking about all the accidents I have been in since I got my licence almost 8 years ago.
I have been in 6 accidents but out of the 6 only 1 has not been my fault. The list goes like this:
1. High school parking lot, I backed into a guys truck.
2 & 3. While nannying in Connecticut I hit 2 mailboxes. One I completely took off the side view mirror. The other one I shattered the glass.
4. Merging, became too close to the side rail and dented my front right bumper. Luckily we traded that car in and it became the dealers problem.
5. Merging, looking over my shoulder thinking the car ahead had gone I ran into their hitch. Did nothing to their car but I had to get a new front grill. This was less than a month after we bought our car.
6. Getting onto I-15 going super slow because the cars in front were stopped and the guy behind me totally ran into me denting my rear bumper and offsetting my trunk. Luckily he had insurance and we filed a police report.

Hopefully this is the last of my accidents. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Larsen Family Fun

Over the holiday break Andrew and I decided to come up to Oakley and hang out with the fam. It was so much fun playing in the snow with Ashton and Clair. They were fearless going down the hill and even being pulled behind the four-wheeler. Once we were done outside we decided to warm up with a little ROcK BaNd!! Randi, Andrew and Jared rocked the house!
